I opened up the standard silencer, removed 2 pieces of pipe from the inside ( as per youtube) and the result was great. Sounds much better than standard, but not as loud as an open pipe.

After numerous attempts at fixing the starter, a Ricks Motorsport starter imported from the USA solved all my problems
