Went for a ride yesterday and the bike started cutting out at random. Eventually it died and wouldnt start so i had a friendly farmer tow me till i could freewheel back to where i stay. Put it on a gs911 to check fault codes and there was a battery positive undervoltage and something about the fuel pump. Question is, will the battery undervoltage cause the fuel pump fault or do i look at replacing both.
When i was freewheeling home i pushed the happy button and the bike fired up again so i suspected loose or dirty battery terminals. Checked and terminals where tight and they where dirty but not excessively.
Any advise would be helpful. I am in Eswatini so need to try and sort myself before i go to the expense of trailering it to Jhb. Covid tests are expensive.
