Petal Maps has turn-by-turn navigation on my watch but it still only relays that from the phone. I have only tested if it works but have never really used it.

Then it is/was not anodizing. Anodizing actually colours the outside layer of the metal so the "coating" itself cannot chip unless the actual metal has a chip or gouge in it.

I also think they are powder coated and not anodized. Anodizing cannot chip.

Hard to tell from the photos but those look like stone chips. Unfortunately you get those from riding on tar as well. I'll rather not post photos of my rims after this...

I have the 300 which has around 20hp less than the 500. It should however still give you a good idea of how the bike feels in terms of suspension, brakes and build quality. I am in Centurion but you are welcome to take it for a spin to help you decide.

One thing is certain; the sound quality of the "No Name" units will not be the same as the Pioneer. I also have a bluetooth Pioneer DMH-XXX (without Android Auto) in my GWM and the sound is damn good.
