Hey guys, I recently bought a great condition 2006 KDX and I'm loving it but the suspension is a bit lacking.
I know there is lots of guys the change the OEM forks with KX USD fork and they seem happy with it.
I am able to get a complete front end of a 2005 CRF 450R for a good price. I know it wont be a plug and play switch but I'm pretty sure it can be done.
My question is: How much time/effort/money will it cost, once the conversion is done, to re-valve and setup the closed cartridge (I think) MX forks to suite enduro type riding?
I weigh 86 without kit so I'm hoping the CRF suspension will work better with my weight.
I hope there are some suspension buffs around here that can give me a good indication.
