Wifey and I will be visiting Italy in April/May and I need to apply for a Schengen visa at the Italian embassy here in Texas. They require, by law, that one buy travel insurance that cover all the Schengen countries, even if you only plan to visit one.
Now, there are plenty of companies out there and scams are a dozen. I like to work on personal references/reviews, just better that way. Europe Assistance caught my eye - seems fair and reasonable and not a fly by night operation. Costs for 12 days run around $100 for two people, which is no problem. What concerns me is can they deliver when you need it? Or which other company is more advisable?
Plenty of dawgs on here that do a lot of traveling to and fro = please share.
