This is a front tyre, mounted on a 950S. It has done just over 3000km with virtually no wear on most of the tyre.
Then at some point wear starts to show on a few of the knobblies.
A few knobblies down the line and that wear escalated to two of the knobblies (not next to each other) have totally worn away and is level with the base of the tyre on one end.
Initially I suspected rim run out, but just checked it and it is within 2mm. Is that enough to wear away a complete knobbly while the rest is almost untouched? In total the worn section makes out about 50% of circumference with worst spot in the middle of that, hence run-out suspected.
